Hi. I have a question. I have been feeling this pain for months on my knee, at first, I thought it was just arthritis or something else, like just maybe my knee were just being tired from work from constantly walking and also of my age. I still go to work like normal, one day my knee just gave up, like I almost couldn’t walk in pain. I rested it for couple days to see if it will get better, I even used crutches to not put any pressure on it.
Went back to work the next week even I still feel the pain, I was using my crutches to help with the pain, I just lasted for 11hrs, and I told my boss that I couldn’t do it anymore.
I have been off work since for almost 2weeks now.
Fast forward, I did Xray, CT-scan, ultrasound, doctors did not find anything. Now I did MRI and just found out that I have a high-grade posterior root meniscus tear. I don’t remember any accidents at work, I read that you can get WORN-OUT meniscus tear.
My question is, with my situation can you consider a worn-out meniscus tear work-related? Or just a meniscus tear without any accident/s that I know off can be work-related? And will I be eligible for work compensation?
Hope you can help me.
Thank you.

If you feel you have a Connecticut case, give me a call at 860-523-8783 and I will go over your situation with you, and advise you on moving forward. The consultation is free. If you are not in Connecticut, I would suggest you run that question by a WC lawyer in your State.
