GOVERNOR LAMONT ISSUES EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATING A REBUTTABLE PRESUMPTION REGARDING WORKERS’ COMPENSATION BENEFITS RELATED TO CONTRACTION OF COVID-19

Governor Lamont announced on  July 24, 2020, that he has signed Executive Order NO. 7JJJ which creates a rebuttable presumption that workers who contracted COVID-19 between March 10, 2020 and May 20, 2020, contracted it on the job and are eligible for workers' compensation benefits.
