NOSSCR reports the most recent processing time for hearings before an ALJ in Hartford is 375 days. That is 17th best in the Nation. To put things in perspective, the shortest wait time is in Houston at 283 days, and the longest is Chicago at 712 days---close to two years.

I had a brain tumor in 2021. The removal left me with coordination issues and a paralyzed lower leg. I applied for social security in March of 2022 and was denied. Looking for advice.

If you were denied within the past 60 days, it is still not too late to appeal. If you call us we can help you with that process.

Hello,
I applied for social security disability back on 2019, do to many medical issues such as plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff tears twice, lumbar spine surgery in 2019 L4-L5 and a second lumbar spine surgery on L5-S1 2021
and on May 2024 bone spur on top of my foot surgery right. Also MRI showing bulge disc on C6-C7.
Would like to know if I should apply for Social Security Disability again and what are the chances will be approve based on medical issues described above.
Thanks

Yes, we almost always recommend continuing to pursue SSD/SSI cases. Your chances of approval depend in part on your age, your past work, and the judge that hears your case.
